Will this work for me?

Nearly everyone can benefit from the VelorBoard, whatever your age, your fitness, or your starting condition. See how it can help your body:

Lower Body Strength

  • Builds back strength in your quads, calves, glutes, and hamstrings using just gravity and your own body weight
  • You don't need weights or any gym gear
  • Choose from five angle settings, begin gently, and advance whenever you feel ready

Joint Health

  • Eases the load on ankles, hips and knees by strengthening their supporting muscles
  • No joint compression at all during any exercise
  • Trusted by physical therapists in knee and ankle rehab

Flexibility and Mobility

  • Lengthens the hamstrings, calves, Achilles tendons, and hip flexors deeper than flat ground allows
  • Eases morning stiffness and tension across the whole lower body
  • Boosts range of motion in the ankle and flexibility throughout the lower body

Balance and Stability

  • Wakes up the small stabilizer muscles surrounding the ankle and knee
  • Improves confidence on uneven surfaces
  • Lowers the chance of falling with step-by-step balance training

Recovery and Rehabilitation

  • Mild enough for recovery after surgery, once your doctor gives the okay
  • Helps with plantar fasciitis, Achilles trouble, and sore knees
  • Scalable enough to keep pushing your body as your strength grows

The Bottom Line

If you're coping with pain, healing after surgery, losing strength, or just want better movement, the VelorBoard meets you at your starting point and progresses alongside you. Plus, our guarantee that refunds your money within 90 days means you risk nothing by trying it yourself.

What is the 2.0 vs Duo model?

The VelorBoard 2.0
A broader deck and sturdier frame rated for up to 300 lbs. It uses the same five angles but is built larger and tougher, ideal for shoppers wanting more space, added durability, or a roomier stance. Ideal for: tall people, big feet, anybody above 225 lbs, or those after the toughest board in the range.

The VelorBoard Duo
Our full lower-body setup. It pairs the adjustable VelorBoard with a curved balance board made to go along with it. Your calves, hips, and ankles get stretched and built up by the slant board, while the balance board builds the steadiness and quick reactions that help prevent falls. Ideal for: anyone committed to complete lower-body mobility, avoiding falls, or regaining strength.

Should knees go over toes?

Yes — and it's perfectly natural.

Modern sports medicine research has largely debunked the notion that knees must never move past the toes. Whenever you take stairs, drop into a squat, or get up from a seat, your knees naturally glide forward beyond your toes. This is simply how the movement is meant to work.

Keeping the knee from travelling past the toes doesn't remove the load. It only moves the stress onto the hip and lower back.

Standing on the slope of the VelorBoard lets your knee drift forward in a natural way. This tilt works the quads and calves across a functional range that matches daily movements, building the muscle around the joint that helps shield it.

With that in mind, stop right away if any motion makes your knee hurt or feels uncomfortable. Every body is different, and a movement that seems natural and painless to one person could be wrong for someone else, based on their condition or past injuries. Begin with the VelorBoard set to its lowest angle, and move up only once each position feels totally comfortable.

When you are healing from knee surgery or an injury, our advice is to get approval from a physical therapist or your doctor before beginning any new exercise program.

A Few Minutes to Feel the Difference

Stretch. Strengthen. Restore.

Why the Incline of the Velor Board Matters

Quads & VMO Activation

Quads & VMO Activation

Because of the slope, your weight moves toward the front of the thighs and switches on the inner quad muscle, which steadies and guards the knee joint at each step.

Deep Calf & Achilles Release

Deep Calf & Achilles Release

The sloped surface reaches the deep tissue at the base of the calf plus the Achilles that foam rollers and wall stretches miss, which is the region behind ankle tightness and knee tension.

Hip & Lower Back Mobility

Hip & Lower Back Mobility

Standing on the slope softly opens up the hip flexors and frees the joint, letting your hips work as intended so the lower back no longer has to cover for them.

Flexibility & Balance

Flexibility & Balance

Raising the heel brings back dorsiflexion, the ankle motion that years in unsupportive flat footwear and long sitting take away. The result is better balance and less stress on your knees at every step.

Common Questions

How is this different from stretching on the floor?

Stretching on the floor mostly works the muscle's outer layer. The incline of the VelorBoard reaches deeper tissue, such as the Achilles, soleus, and hip flexors, with a depth and angle a flat surface simply cannot produce. It builds strength while you stretch too, which floor stretching cannot offer. Plenty of people who spent years stretching on the floor with no lasting results feel a difference starting with session one on the board.

Is it okay for your knees to pass your toes?

Current research and physical therapy practice indicate that allowing the knees to drift a little past the toes is normal and can matter a lot for healthy knee movement.

Your knees move past your toes during everyday activities such as descending a slope, going up stairs, or standing up from a chair. The key is keeping the movement under control, while slowly building up the muscles and tendons surrounding the knee.

The Velor Board supports this with a safe, controlled incline which softly works the ankles, knees, and calves. That helps build the quads, the patellar tendon, and the muscles that support them that support knee stability and lasting joint health.

If you are new to the board, begin with smaller movements or partial squats then gradually widen your motion as your knees get stronger.

How is it used, and how much time does it take?

Just 5 minutes of use every 1–2 days.

Get on the board, pick an angle, and let the slope handle the effort. Once your body adjusts, add calf raises, squats, lunges, or hamstring stretches to raise the challenge.

Is the Velor Board a safe option for first-timers?

Yes, definitely. Thanks to its adjustable angles, the Velor Board suits beginners, seniors, and anyone with limited mobility who wants to start stretching gently, effectively, and safely.

What if it fails to work for me?

Every board is backed by a money-back promise lasting 30 days. Try it daily for one month; should you feel no change, return it and get your whole purchase price back. No questions, no fuss.
